Beauvais Carpets' staff of specialist includes leading experts in their field, who are devoted to locating, researching and offering the finest carpets and tapestries available. Our staff is often called upon for consultation in forming individual and institutional collections as well as on matters of conservation and restoration. David Amini, the gallery's founder, is supported by Stan Olshefski and James Ffrench. Beauvais Carpets is a member of the Syndicat National Des Antiquaires.

David Amini

Mr. Amini founded Beauvais Carpets in 1990 as he saw a void in the carpet and tapestry market for a gallery dedicated to objects of historical significance as well as outstanding decorative appeal. Mr. Amini's appreciation and understanding of carpets and tapestries as works of art has quickly propelled Beauvais Carpets into a preeminent position in the world marketplace. His commitment to his vision in this field ensures that Beauvais Carpets will continue to be the premier carpet and tapestry gallery in America for years to come.
